I recently received a couple of emails with some great photos of two Starbucks Clover locations! Thank you to the two readers for sending these in!
Prescott, Arizona Starbucks Clover-Reserve store:
Prescott, Arizona gets its first Clover store:
Highway 69 & 89 – “Frontier” Starbucks – grand opening May 9, 2013
1861 East Highway 69
Prescott, Arizona 86301
928 445 4265
This location is a Clover store with a drive-thru. That is unusual, but it is not the first. I have heard that the first drive-thru Starbucks was in Nashville, Tennessee. Highlands Ranch, Colorado had a drive-thru Clover Starbucks store early on, as well as a drive-thru Clover store in Atlanta, Georgia.
This beautiful new Starbucks in Prescott boasts about 3,000 square feet, and amazing seating both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor cushioned seating looks a little odd to this Seattleite! Here’s the Prescott store:
This store looks beautiful!
Oak and Rush, Chicago:
Also, a Chicago reader sent me pictures of the Oak and Rush Clover Starbucks store. As I understand it, this is a two-story location. I hope to visit this store someday – I have heard good things about it. I believe it’s an “Evenings” Starbucks too. Even better, it is one of just a handful of Starbucks which use a special manual espresso machine called a Simonelli. I only received a few photos, but they really show that there’s a lot of beauty in this store’s design.
Hope you enjoyed this episode of “from the mailbag”!

Melody great pics! Thank you readers for sending them in.
The Chicago SB looks terrific. Love the wall. Denise r have you been there? I like two level stores. What does this store overlook? That is why I enjoy the Harvard square SB because you can go on the second floor and look at the square and people watch. Thanks.
@Purple1 – Rush & Oak overlooks a bustling area of shops, night clubs and restaurant’s. Its a hot spot especially in the evenings. I think this Starbucks may be open 24/7. I would have to check. Unfortunately, you don’t get the scenery of Lake Michigan and the infamous Oak Street Beach and it is blocks away from Shopping on North Michigan Ave. the historical Water Tower and pumping station. It is definitely in a very hot area. Before you ask, I have never physically stepped into this store, although I have been outside dozens of times. I’m interested if the manager is the same manager that went there once upon a time.
@Melody – Remember the store I heard was rumored to be selling the Kona? 😉
I forgot to mention that I knew the manager from another store. Last I heard awhile back, this person was still managing the store.
@Chgo – Thank you for the insights on this store. I would think it would be a lot of fun to manage a store that is a Clover-Evenings store, and such a high profile store. Just means that you have so much to offer your customers!
@Melody: Come to think of it, this store would be considered within the Gold Coast area of Chicago. 😉 So there ya’ go!
I’ve had the pleasure of working shifts at the Oak & Rush Starbucks! Melody, it’s beautiful! You *HAVE* to take a trip here to see it for yourself. You would love it. 🙂
This Sbux (at Rush and Oak) IS the “Gold Coast” coffee store…..

@purple1: I was invited to an event there a few yrs ago but couldn’t make it, so…no, have not been yet.
If I may ask, Denise. Are you a Store Manager in Chicago?
@Trey: no, I don’t work for Sbux (never have) Just a long time (20+yrs) customer;)
@Trey: I thought I just posted this….but does not apppear so….

Wow! I just discovered your blog, and digging through your posts, I was shocked to see our Prescott Starbucks in the title! I am a super regular there! My best friend and I who are both named Elizabeth are known as “Elizabeth Squared” by all the employees! 🙂
