Starbucks is now offering Teavana teas inside their stores! You can buy loose leaf Teavana tea. Look for it on your store’s merchandise wall.
The Teavana tea options include:
- Royal English Breakfast (black tea)
- Jade Citrus Mint (green tea)
- Pineapple Kona Pop (herbal infusion)
- Passion Tango (herbal infusion)
- Youthberry (white tea)
And continued from previous seasons, you still can purchase the Teavana Oprah Chai too.
I’m pretty excited about the new teas. The Pineapple Kona Pop is one of my favorites. If you open it up, the aromas will entice you and lure you in. I’ve made it at home as an iced tea hundreds of times. It’s great by itself or blended with the Teavana Blueberry Bliss tea (look for Blueberry bliss online or in the actual Teavana stores).
Over the past year, I’ve spent a lot of time visiting the Teavana tea store in Seattle’s University Village. And so over time, I’ve already tried every single tea listed above, except English Breakfast. I’m not a big English Breakfast fan generally speaking, and I tend to make a lot of iced tea at home.
At home, I use this Teavana Infusion Pitcher (designed for iced tea) and make lots of iced tea. The Youthberry is delicious hot or iced.
Hope you go check out the new teas! Starbucks started with a small test of this transition one year ago, and here we are finally Teavana teas everywhere!

Will this be available to Partners for weekly markout?
yes!
I’m so excited about this! I’m a huge Teavana fan, and I’ve made my husband into one, too. We have the big infusion pitcher, but did you know they have a smaller version of that pitcher? My husband likes the Monkey Picked Oolong Tea, so we need to have separate pitchers. I can’t wait to try the Pineapple Kona Pop, but Youthberry is already one of my favorites. Do you know if the PKP is caffeine free?
It’s an herbal tea, so yes!
Yes! It is available for partner markout. I got my Royal English Breakfast tea this morning!
The only thing I worry about with the Teavana tea is that the tea is loose leaf. We only happen to have a tea ball because the hubs and I went to a real Teavana and he kinda went crazy with tea stuff. But I’m not sure most people are going to have the stuff to make the new teas. 🙁
Will they brew you a hot or iced tea inside Starbucks with these teas, ala the Teavana stores?
No. Our teas behind the counter are in sachets.
Very cool to see this. My previous experience with Teavana stores is they have a high pressure sales pitch that gets old quick.
This begs the question: will Starbucks still sell Tazo tea?
No. Tazo will be a grocery brand only.
Of course, I’ve seen other coffeehouses selling Tazo.
I was so excited, until I saw ‘+ Artificially flavoured’ in huge text on the packaging. I want tea from real stuff. Is that too much to ask for from Teavana?
:/
Tea is a beverage that like coffee, is all made from a single plant. Herbal “teas” are in fact, not “teas” at all, but made up from different ingredients.
Pineapple Kona Pop ingredients are as listed: Apple pieces, candied pineapple pieces (pineapple, sugar), natural and artificial flavoring, rose blossom leaves, rosebuds, marigold blossoms, orange blossoms
Note the lack of actual “tea”!
@Kristen – Thanks for your help in this thread! Lots of good answers. I’ve heard that it’s better to say “herbal infusion” than tea for herbal teas, but we live in a world where people are so used to saying “herbal tea” that that is what most people will call it.
Hello…. I know we can redeem our rewards for teas at teavana stores. Can we also redeem any if our rewards for teas at starbucks now..?
Wow! I didn’t know loose leaf teas would be sold in Starbucks stores!
I finally saw the teas at my local store and will use my reward to buy a tin of tea. I wish they would brew this tea upon request. That would certainly be a nice gesture.
@Purple1 – I’m not aware that you can use a reward on a tin of Teavana teas? Just as before, you couldn’t use a reward on a tin of Tazo tea, I don’t think anything has changed. As far as I know, you can’t use a reward for the Teavana tins of tea.
I would imagine at some point you will be able to get this brewed for you in store. We may be far off from that. It could happen someday. I think the stores have to go through their Tazo in-store supply. And then probably Starbucks has to come up with a system to make that work. We’ll see.
Melody I asked a partner if I could use a reward to get the teavana tea tin and he said yes. I will let you know.
Is there anywhere that blackberry monitors and peach “something” can be purchased?
