Secret Blackberry Creme Frappuccino!
Happy Monday!
Your Frappuccino of the week comes via an anonymous reader. He suggested this: “Tell your readers to order a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino and add in one scoop of the berries inclusion that are used in the Very Berry Refresher! Top with cinnamon dulce topping!” It’s pretty simple but always, please know how to order your drink and don’t order by a cutesy name!
This recipe creates something close to a Blackberry Creme Frappuccino!
If you’re getting this drink, use one scoop of the berry inclusion for the Tall and Grande Frappuccino sizes. Use two scoops of the berries for a Venti size Frappuccino. As always, whole milk is the default milk.
Of course I ran out and tried this Frappuccino. It’s a nice twist on a traditional Vanilla Bean Frappuccino. The berry flavor is mild since it uses an inclusion, not a syrup, nonetheless it’s a fun change of pace of drink if you’re looking for something new to try!
(The Frappuccino of the Week column is only published on Mondays).
Here’s how you submit a Frappuccino of the Week (if I use your submission, I’ll mail you a $10 Roastery Card as a thank you): First off, be sure to include a high resolution image of your drink. The Frappuccino should be full and not yet consumed. Include all information about the drink recipe or drink build. I want to make it easy for others to order your drink. Include a statement that you took the photo of the Frappuccino and that you’re giving me permission to use it – entry into the Frappuccino of the Week category presumes that I may freely use your photograph on this site. Please introduce yourself and let me know if you are a customer or a partner! Send your Frappuccino drink idea, image, drink build instructions, and all relevant information via email to Melody at StarbucksMelody dot com. If you want the $10 Starbucks card, I’ll need your mailing address.
If for any reason you need to contact me, you can always use the Contact form on this site.

Starbucks is launching this as an official flavor in a couple weeks along with a strawberry shortcake flavor. They are two flavors that use core ingredients…so not sure I agree with rewarding the submitter. Just sayin.
This reader didn’t get a $10 Starbucks Roastery card – you gotta follow all the rules to get one, including submitting the image. But I included the paragraph on how to submit a drink because I’m sure many, many readers don’t know that they can submit a Frappuccino idea to this blog.
In this case, all I knew was how to order it: that’s all I got told. So I ran out and ordered it (that’s my drink in the photo) and got the drink in the pic.
A similar one to this that I’ve done is a white mocha creme frappuccino with a scoop of the berries. It’s quite delish too.
i like doing a tall cannula bean with coconut milk, one scoop of berries and one packet of blueberries!!! So good!
Vanilla bean.. Typo
I’ve heard the best tip for this blackberry Frappuccino is ask for it double blended – the inclusions blend better, so I’ve heard. Haven’t tried that yet.
