Starting September 23rd, there’s a new latte in town. It’s called the “Toasted Graham Latte.” I have to confess, I haven’t tried it yet. This new drink is already mentioned on a Starbucks.ca page listing beverages:
Given the description of the drinks, I assume that the Toasted Graham Latte is the one in the copper mug. Starbucks Canada describes it as “Nothing says ‘yay fall’ like … our new Toasted Graham Latte made with graham and sweet cream. [It] can be served hot, iced or blended to suite whatever type of autumn day you’re having.”
While I haven’t tried the new latte yet, I did ask a barista here in Seattle to blend some Toasted Graham Latte syrup in with a Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino. That was an interesting experiment. The syrup itself has a pretty mild flavor. I tried the new Toasted Graham topping atop the Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino, and it was delicious. I’ve been saying this for years but Starbucks is the master of coming up with perfect toppings for drinks. I could see a whole set of Starbucks toppings for home use for cupcakes, beverages, ice cream and more! 😉 The new Toasted Graham topping is slightly sweetened graham cracker crust with a very find powdery texture.
Here’s another look at the drink. A very nice random image sent my way:
Enjoy the new drink! Keep in mind that this is a seasonal beverage and it doesn’t start until September 23rd!
(Thank you Starbucks Canada for inspiring me to write this! 😉 Just to be clear, this drink is launching in the US and Canada on September 23rd. My inspiration for writing this came from seeing that an image of the drink was already on the Starbucks Canada beverages page.)

I’m excited to try this, and I wonder how it stack up next to the Chestnut Praline which I always thought tasted like Golden Grahams. I hope this won’t replace it, though I don’t imagine it would since it’s earlier. 🙂 If anyone has tried it let me know how it compares to CPL.
I think I like it! I tried my first one today and it was yummy! It kind of reminds me of the caramel Brule, but lighter if that makes sense. And the topping is totally the best part! 🙂
I think I might love this one given how much I enjoyed the S’mores frappuccino. Out of all the fall /holiday lattes I only like the Eggnog so it might be a good lighter alternative.
I’d love to try this. Unfortunately, it won’t be out in Chicago. We’ll be having the Pumpkin Flat White. I’d much prefer the Toasted Graham.
NOOOO! Not a flavored flat white!
Taking a break from wrapping up the moving. So happy to be able to be back at the computer a bit for posting to your wonderful blog, Melody. This drink sounds very good to me. Simple… that’s how I like it. (Would have never known that from my Frappuccino submission, huh?) I’m with you on the toppings. Wondering why Starbucks does not offer them on the store page.
Tried this today (iced) – It is very reminiscent of the Caramel Brule’ but not as sweet. Not certain if I would like it hot as it may seem like a hot chocolate (treat). At any rate, I’m glad I tried it 🙂
Sounds yummy!! I can’t wait to try it 🙂
I’m disappointed gingerbread won’t be back this year. But, I’m anxious to give this one a try!
I got to try it in NC as a hot sample. I liked it and was looking forward to trying it iced when I got back to Chicago. But that’s not going to happen since we aren’t getting it. Maybe I need to go on a road trip someplace. :-/
I haven’t tried it as a latte or a blended beverage yet, but I tried the toasted Graham syrup in a cup each of dark roast and Pike. Made for a wonderful sweetness with a twist! I like it. It’ll definitely be part of my autumnal rotation! 🙂
Was excited to see it at a Chicago Starbucks last night! It was 10pm though and I didn’t want to get something that late. But I’ll try to make a Target run soon so I can try it iced!!!
