A reader of this blog (who is located in Bangkok) contacted me, asking if I had a Starbucks card from Thailand! I will say that this card shown in this article is my very first anything (Starbucks-related) from Thailand! It’s such a pretty card. I assume the Thai script on the front side actually says, “Starbucks.” And you can apparently register the card at the Starbucks Thailand website.
What really blew me away was how incredibly adorable the gift holders are for the cards. I assume that customers must separately buy these little canvas gift holders, but it’s just absurdly cute. Throw in the key chain, and it’s precious. I would love to see a little gift card holder set like this sold in the U.S.!
I don’t have much else to say about this Starbucks card. Hope you like it too.
By the way, if you like looking at Starbucks cards, I have a number of other articles on cards here.
(Edit on March 11, 2013: A reader who reads Thai contacted me. This card says “Thailand” on it, not “Starbucks.”)

Melody did you get one in the mail too? I love the gift card holder! Can see its use beyond the gift card. Again, it is so amazing how the international market seems more creative in their designs. Bring it here!
OMG I love this!!! I agre with purple1.
A family member surprised me with this card and the year of the snake one from Thailand (alas, no holder, but I’m not picky!). It sure is cute!
If you can register it on the Thailand site, can you register it on the US site? (I’ve registered Canadian cards before, but never tried cards from other continents)

I agree with everyone else: the card is pretty but the little holder and key ring are really precious! One of my niece’s friends lives there, on and off. (Her husband’s job) I wish I’d seen this when my niece went to visit. Either way, I intend to ask her to ask her friend about getting this for me. I know she is a Sbux lover. When my niece came home, she was telling me about how different the food offerings are there.
Thanks for the post Melody!
Oh…I can see this appealing much more to women than men, btw. (the little holder etc. reminds me of playing with my dolls as a girl..I’m sure I would’ve used it for one of them!)
I really love looking at all types of cards, those are very nice. I really would like to have a couple of those Starbucks key chains (too cute and functional).

That keychain holder is so cute. I would totally buy one. More cute merchandise. Fewer mugs!
Ooooh that is cute!
ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!! what an adorable card and that keychain!!!!!!!!! i need one of those!!!!!! 😀
That is cute! I dislike how Starbucks Thailand only take Starbucks Thailand cards though. 🙁 PS: I live in Arizona, and my Fry’s grocer has the Iced Refreshers packets (in Berry Hibiscus and Strawberry Lemonade along with the Lime they already had). Thanks for the heads up! 🙂
I would totally buy the little bag/gift card holder, as well as the keychain, if only it were available here in the US. I swear, everywhere outside the US gets the most awesome merchandise, drinks, mugs, cards, etc. from Starbucks. For example, Japan’s Cherry Blossom line is just too cute, why isn’t there ever any of those fun designs here?
The script on the card said “Thailand” in Thai not “Starbucks”
