Coming soon: Starbucks Shaken Peach Green Tea Lemonade. The official launch day is June 25, 2013. I am pretty excited by it. It’s a flavor that Starbucks tested a number of times before finally introducing it nationally.
In March of 2012, the Starbucks Peach Tea was tested in Austin, Texas; Columbus, Ohio; San Diego, California; as well as a few other locations. I tried the 2012 “test” version of the Peach Green Tea Lemonade at the annual meeting of shareholders. Note that the 2012 version of Peach Green Tea Lemonade had freeze-dried peach bits which were constituted when shaken vigorously. As an aside, it seems that Starbucks has mastered the art of freeze-dried space food and toppings. They rarely produce anything short of a fantastic beverage topping or inclusion. From creme brulee caramelized pieces, to chocolate curls, to lime wedges, Starbucks knows how to do toppings and inclusions. The 2013 test version of the Peach Green Tea Lemonade does not include an inclusion. It’s still delicious! I tried it just recently at a downtown Seattle Starbucks, and I liked it. The partners and I joked that it tastes a bit like the flavor of Trolli Peachie-Os. Of course, it uses the Tazo Green Tea beverage and adds peach syrup.
In March of this year, Starbucks re-introduced Peach again, this time launching it in a large number of U.S. cities, including Baltimore, Austin, San Diego, Denver, Sacramento, and more.
It’s official. Beginning June 25, 2013, Peach will be available as a syrup option everywhere in the United States. I’m looking forward to trying it in a Frappuccino! I still haven’t done that.

This will be my drink of summer 2013! I loved this drink during the test period and drove to a neighboring town to try it out. I have been stalking my Starbucks to find out when they get it in. WOO HOO! I love black tea lemonade but now I will be ordering peach black tea. Thanks for the update, Melody!
The Peach Green Tea and Peach Green Tea Lemonade are both delicious! I can’t wait to start rolling them out to share it with the rest of the world! And here I thought I was being a little weird thinking that the flavor reminded me of the Trolli gummi. =P
Is it very sweet? I do like peach iced tea but not if its super sweet. Being from California we always drank unsweeten iced tea so I’m not a sweet tea lover.
It’s not too sweet I prefer an extra pump for that extra taste of peach. I tried it with cool lime as well and I loved it
I agree I tend to find the bottled drinks too sweet for me no matter what it says. I also think the majority of people prefer sweetened tea so I am sure this might sell. I guess I always wondered why everything has to have added sugar! Personal taste I know.
The Baristas at my regular Starbucks are really excited about all the new items coming on June 25th (La Boulange and the new drinks). They have been teasing us regulars this past week and I would not be surprised if there were some pre-release samples this coming week.
We made a peaches & cream Frappuccino today and it was lovely. Just a basic Syrup Creme with Peach syrup. Yum! And I agree, it’s about time we gave this to everybody, it’s really great!
Like many others commenting here, I was too was concerned about how sweet this syrup would be. To my surprise, and delightfully so, it’s not aggressively sweet at all. I really enjoyed the peach green tea lemonade.
It’s been pretty warm down here in Southern California so I have been making blended peach green tea lemonade. I just follow the recipe for the blended strawberry lemonade substituting green tea for the strawberry and adding peach syrup. I don’t use four CBS pumps of the peach syrup though because the cream base adds sweetness and it is just too much for me. The texture is a little thinner than the BSL but I still enjoy it. I’m thinking that a blended orange mango green tea with peach syrup might be pretty good, or it might be overkill. I’ll have to try it.
I’d love to hear how other partners are using the peach syrup. The peaches and cream Frappuccino sounds amazing! Makes me wonder what whipped cream would taste like with peach syrup instead of vanilla.
I really liked this when I sampled it at the shareholders meeting. Nice peach flavor, not too sweet. Looking forward to seeing it here!
We have been serving this for a couple of months in Pittsburgh. One of the partners I work with says ” this is how the green tea lemonade should taste”. It is perfect. My go to drink to stay hydrated on shift.
Try the peach refresher as a blended Lemon Aid… Totally to die for…. Pretty much like the blended strawberry lemonade…
Hey Douglas that sounds good … help me out with ordering it. I still am not sure I’d know how to order a blended peach anything. Do you add frappuccino base? Are you doing lime and peach? Recipe help wanted, pretty please! 🙂

Peach Green Tea Frappe was fantastic, five peach pumps in a Venti really got the flavor to shine.
