It’s time for another episode of From the Mailbag. This is where I feature the pictures and content that you email me. It’s been way too long since I’ve done this kind of article. Always feel free to write me!
Do You Want a Frappuccino?
A Starbucks partner in Arizona sent me this cute video link. Two baristas are singing “Do You Want a Frappuccino” to the tune of the song “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” from the Disney movie Frozen. It’s cute!
Amsterdam Blend
From a Seattle partner, he sent me this photo of a very old package of Amsterdam Blend of coffee. I have no memory of Starbucks ever producing Amsterdam Blend and I was wondering if anyone here knows the story behind it? The partner said he was cleaning out his grandmother’s kitchen and stumbled upon this coffee. Notice that it’s dated 2003!
Clover – Reserve Starbucks in Boulder, Colorado
A customer in Boulder, Colorado sent me some pictures of the most recent Reserve – Clover Starbucks in Boulder. It looks like a great store! This Boulder store is brand new, and opened February 28, 2014. I particularly like the chalkboard art. Hope you enjoy these photos too:
If you’re enjoying this little Starbucks fan website, please share it with your friends.
Enjoy!

Cute song from partners! Seems like they are really engaged in their work nice to see. The Boulder store looks open. I like when stores have that open floor plan and you do not feel like you are sitting on top of the next person. Wow that Boulder art is chalkboard art! Would never guess that from the pic.
What a beautiful store! Love the chalk art and the warm feel of the store.
Fake Chalk art. It is a poster wall (more to the right and left) in the style of chalk art.
@Purple1 – I agree it’s nice when stores are spacious and well thought out. Though I think some of it just has to do where the store is and how dense the city is. I would always assume that in places like San Francisco, more stores are smaller.
@Kurt – Thank you for emailing in the photos.
@Becky – I love it too. I love the pic of the partner with his hand up high in the air, welcoming people into the store.
So glad you did a From Mailbag article, I’m so bookmarking this video the partners cute singing & creative lyric and video production is spirit lifting – put a big smile on my face… I’ll be playing this video frequently when Christmas season comes around later this year! Also, after seeing the pictures you shared from a customer of yours… It reminded how wonderful the Chalkboard Art the Starbucks Stores uses to have & allow partners to express their creativity around the order/pick up area – I used to admire those cute art & words! Wonder what made it stopped at the stores?
