This year, Starbucks stores have a limited 2014 “You Are Here” holiday ornament. Not all Starbucks stores will have them. These little ornaments are destination-themed, like all of the past You Are Here collectible mugs, which were launched new into the Starbucks lineup, spring 2013.
There are ten 2014 holiday Starbucks You Are Here ornaments: (this list is in no particular order)

- San Francisco
- Hawaii
- California
- New York
- Washington D.C.
- Florida

I dropped by 1912 Pike Place Starbucks this morning, and snapped a pic of the You Are Here ornament exclusive to this store:
From what I know, there are only two places that received larger, matching full-size collectible Christmas You Are Here mugs: Hawaii and Pike Place Market (meaning the store at 1912 Pike Place). If you know of any other locations that have the large, full-size holiday You Are Here mugs, please let me know. Here’s the Pike Place one next to the ornament so you can see how they compare in size:

The other day (on the 13th), I dropped by 1912 Pike Place on my way into work. It was still dark out and I snapped a photo of the front of the store with my phone. It’s not a great quality pic but I like how the lights look in this photo, so I am sharing it here:

Living in California I feel the need to get the CA, LA and SF ones. If I do, I may as well just have a Starbucks themed Christmas tree. lol

They look great. Sure wish they made them for every state/city that already has a regular YAH mug. These are much more Christmas looking than most of this year’s mugs out to the whole market. Is there a schedule of YAH or other state/city mugs anywhere on-line or do you just know when they show up in store?
Fredorange or various Facebook groups are the best thing for trying to keep track of the new mugs or related merchandise that is being released. Usually, people put pictures up or report sightings as they see them, so it’s fairly comprehensive. Not sure how you would find out about releases much sooner, unless you worked inside corporate Starbucks or something of the like…

If I knew, I would have bought the New York one when I saw it! I will have to swing by that store and pick one up asap.
With my ornament collection growing, I actually bought a bigger tree this year, just for my Starbucks stuff!
i live in Richmond, VA and went in to DC today just to get one!
They should make more than 2 full-size Holiday city mugs! Sadly I even think 2 is the most we’ve gotten in awhile…back in 2006 and 2007 there were 3 (NY, SF, and Chicago), 2008 there were 5 (add Seattle and Hawaii), but in 2009 there was only one — NY. As far as I know, there haven’t been any full sized mugs since then, until this year. The North American market has been shafted in recent years…whereas there are dozens of international holiday mugs this year with the gorgeous bone relief on a gold background.
