Turn your handcrafted beverage (RED) on December 1, 2014.
This World AIDS Day 2014 (12-1-14), for every handcrafted beverage sold at company-operated Starbucks locations (in the U.S. and Canada), Starbucks will donate ten cents to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, in partnership with (RED).
This year, for the first time, Bank of America (also partnered with (RED)) will donate a matching ten cents for every handcrafted beverage sold in Starbucks (U.S. and Canada), if the purchase was made with a registered Starbucks card. Learn more about registering your Starbucks card and MyStarbucksRewards here.
Starbucks has partnered with (RED) since 2008. You can learn more about their partnership and past fundraising efforts here.

i love this.
i would also love to see starbucks put out another (red) card. i have 3 in my collection, and they’re my favourites! plus, being able to donate for a full year was a great incentive to use that card all the time!
Wish there was a card this year. I love the Jonathan Adler card! (The other RED cards were pretty cool too). The lighting company I work for actually sells Jonathan Adler lighting fixtures, I had to show my co-worker that card last week!
@Elly – I always thought the (RED) cards were pretty and I too loved the year-long donation! Thank you for the comment.
@Megan – There’s a Jonathan Adler store in University Village. Sometimes I wish I had a whole apartment just styled from Jonathan Adler!! That’s a little too spendy for me, but I would love it.
No problem, I love this.. Starbucks is amazing, they never forget the little guy, the down and out, or the customers! And yes, I’d buy another Red card any day!
Starbucks being involved with (RED) is one of the reasons I wanted to work for the company. I’m happy that my store manager is letting us wear (RED) t-shirts for World Aids Day. I’m bringing in 5 extra shirts so that my partners can wear one too.
Melissa that is so awesome!
