Today was the grand opening of the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room. I wrote about this extensively yesterday, but wanted to share more photos. You can see the place come to life. One of the very first customers in the door was a friend of mine, named Brad, who took this photo:
(Click to enlarge). That is the most amazing photo. According to Brad, Howard threw the doors open, welcomed everyone to the Roastery, and then he went inside. Quite a store opening!!
Just want to share a few more photos from today. There’s such much to see at this store, I felt like I needed one more article. Once again, look for the Roastery at 1124 Pike Street, in Seattle.
Enjoy!

I just love everything about it!
HS certainly seems proud of this store almost seems like an opening at Disney World. I have heard a lot about Tom Douglas and can imagine his affiliation brings this store up another level. Again, I say it is too bad if you are outside of Seattle you cannot get the same experience.
I so hope they open a store in NYC.
Mel, when you visit, can you share some of the pictures for the Tom Douglas area? I wanna know what the pizza place looks like!
I love that picture of HS. So neat. The video is pretty cool too. What is your favorite part of the store so far?
I would love to try the food and coffee pairings as well as pick up a Reserve gift card.
Melody, Is it possible to buy merchandise from the Roastery?
Gosh I can not wait to go to visit this store!!! It shall be soon!!!
Wow, Starbucks certainly got it right with this one! Fabulous store that I think I’d have to just go in and sit for a moment to take it all in.
What a special day for Starbucks! I love this photo of Howard Schultz, he looks so amazingly happy! Just imagine what he has seen in his lifetime with the evolution of this company. Looks like I’m going to need to plan another trip to Seattle.
Gorgeous! Thanks for being our eyes to these events.
I LITERALLY CAN NOT WAIT…been looking at flights this morning…it’s a matter of when
Great pics! I’ve been OBSESSED with checking #starbucksroastery on instagram. This store really encompasses all the great things Starbucks should and could be like in stores all around the globe. We don’t all have the technology, necessarily to create this kind of experience, but this is part of our make up now. We, when we’re at our best and show excellence, are top of the line!! This store is truly inspiring!
