The Starbucks Coffee Gear Store is where you go to find fun and unusual Starbucks merchandise. You’ll find things like pens and pencils that say ‘Starbucks’ on them, t-shirts, sweatshirts, Starbucks key chains, child-sized green aprons, Siren mouse pads and much more. I always recommend the Coffee Gear Store as part of your Starbucks-themed vacation to Seattle!
There are just two ways you can shop at the Starbucks Coffee Gear Store: Online or at the one physical store.
If you work for Starbucks, (you’re a “partner”) you can shop the online Coffee Gear Store.
Anybody (whether you work for Starbucks or not) can go shopping at the one physical Starbucks Coffee Gear Store, located at 2401 Utah Avenue South, on the 8th floor. The store is open Monday through Friday, normal business hours.
It’s almost without fail, when I post these articles, I’ll get questions (via Facebook, email and more) like, “How can I buy one of those coasters?” The answer is in italics above.
The first thing you do is visit the Starbucks headquarters (The Starbucks “Support Center”) at 2401 Utah Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98134:
Then head up to the 8th floor, you’ll find the fun goodies at the Coffee Gear Store. Take a look at some of the fun things I found:
^ Big circular Siren mouse pads and Anniversary Blend Siren mouse pads!
Here’s more from the Coffee Gear Store! Hope you can visit soon!

When I see an article like this I tend to think, “Boy, it makes me sad to see all this stuff when I don’t live anywhere near Seattle”. But then I think, “Boy, I bet my bank account is happy I don’t live anywhere near Seattle”. Love to see these things…
@Lisa – Thank you for that comment – I think about that all the time: this entire website is very Seattle-centric. I’ve thought that there are a few articles here and there that could seem frustrating to readers. They wish they could experience the Coffee Gear Store or the Roastery. But I also think it’s valuable just to see what’s happening here… And who knows, you might come vacation in Seattle! 🙂
The store closest to me carries no merchandise anymore. Just a few of the core coffees and some reserves since it’s a clover store. With no holiday decorations or merchandise it’s just not very inviting. I really don’t understand why Starbucks has cut back like this. I think all the stores should at least have had the red cup ornament and the red cup mug. Had to order them from the online store but sure would like to actually see them before buying. And the ornament part of my order was canceled. Frustrating.
@Melody, as a matter of fact I was telling my family just last night that next summer I would love our family vacation to be a trip to Seattle. My daughter, who’s 9, insists we must drive, since surely it’s “not that far”. I just smiled at her. And, BTW, the article is not truly frustrating… instead, it gives me something to strive for!! 🙂
Hi- We have made a product that affixes to your creamer decanter/containers in Starbucks stores that lights up when contents need to be replenished by employees. Who could we get in contact with to share our product?
Thank you!
Melody: I just returned from an annual visit my husband and I do to Seattle, stay downtown and roam around! This time, for Christmas, on our way home (Oregon Coast) we made a stop to the Starbuck’s HQ. It was fun, but I think, thin staffed, due to the holiday break. I did pick up one of the Siren Mouse Pads which I am using now and really like. It is arty and colorful! 🙂 There was a lot of other stuff I could have purchased, but self-control kept me in line. I love T-Shirts, so maybe next time I will get one at the Roastery! 🙂 On the 3rd floor at the HQ, check out the photos on the wall, where the restrooms are at, just outside of the cafeteria center. They are from the early 1900’s when (if I remember correctly) the Starbucks building used to be Sears and Roebucks….. When I was looking at this large photos and reading about them, one of the SB partners stopped and shared a bit about the area and showed where his father worked for many years, in the photo, across the street from the SB building. So, all this to say, take time to check out the walls and stop and view and read what’s on them, as you’ll get a nice bit of history!
I love seeing posts about the Starbucks gear shop and seeing what is new. Seattle is on my bucket list to visit and check out all the Starbucks
Hi Starbucks lovers! Ex-barista here. I make and sell wallets made from empty coffee bags. My inspiration was the beautiful Starbucks anniversary bag last year. If you can’t make it to Seattle this is a great way to get some Starbucks related gear. It is all perfectly legal as they are made from bags of coffee I bought. They are an “in-between, slim wallet. Check out my Etsy site.
