It’s time for another look at Starbucks Refreshers. Next up: Raspberry Pomegranate flavor. Let me say, that without a shadow of a doubt, I am a complete fan of Refreshers. They are indeed genuinely Refreshing. Starbucks has experimented with a number of flavors and varieties of this product, so if you want to look at previous article on the Refreshers click here:

Since the current Refreshers are being tested in Arizona, I don’t have a chance to try them over and over again (I live in Seattle). There are several canned flavors, and I received a can of Raspberry Pomegranate in the mail. As I expected, this drink doesn’t disappoint. I made a little video of me trying this drink. Please be aware that this was a one take video. Here it is:

Love love the video. You did a great job testing the drink. I also loved the fact that they used one of my favorite glasses that SB has been selling. BTW when you got the can in the mail just curious how was it shipped so it did not open, etc.? Do you know what the price of this drink is? Not too sweet?
Thank you Purple1. Every time I do one of these, I think “I’m not doing that again!” LOL Glad you like.
Don’t think that Melody – it’s you – it’s great. Thanks for doing these and putting these out there.
BTW, I also like that glass, but I really liked the recycled glass mugs they had in that style. I wish I had bought more.
It’s nice to see Starbucks trying different things. I imagine that CPG RTD tests are quite a bit more expensive for them than in store tests.
I liked the video too….I thought it was cute! You did an excellent job opening and pouring that can out! ha! No kidding, it was cute.
I think there’d be no way I wouldn’t like the Refreshers…..altho, there’s been a canned drink out there (not Sbux) for at least 6yrs…..that this sounds like. I used to drink them for some time period. I haven’t had one in a while but I think they were called “Enviga”??? fizzzy, fruity, I think some green tea, plus maybe some of that ‘taurine’ (“energy”?) stuff. Sounds kind of similar to me but, I won’t know unless these Refreshers launch! sound good tho.
still wish they had the tazoberry ‘n cream for a light drink in the summer.
Nice video again! You really should be doing more video reviews on Starbucks products. Maybe Starbucks will launch it nationwide after seeing it! LOL. Anyway, congratulations once again, and hope you’re enjoying it… =)
I am glad you like them. They don’t seem to be selling well here in my store. I wonder how they are doing in the grocery stores. I personally only like this flavor out of all three.
Love the video, great to see you being a bit silly! 😀
My mouth was watering and I was already to get that raspberry pomergranate one for my treat with my next treat receipt but then I heard you say they are only available in Arizona…schucks!
Cute video! (I think you should make more!)
I got a kick out of the video and the way you “sold” the refresher! 🙂 Do you know if and when this will be on the market? Makes me want to go out and try one.
@Diele – Are the other Refreshers selling in your store? I mean the handcrafted ones, Lime and Berry Hibiscus. So far I have liked all of the Refreshers. This canned one was better than the 2 that I tried – orange melon and the other one:

The first two flavors of Refreshers – Berry Hibiscus and Cool Lime were amazing!! So far I real have liked all of them. Really great innovation.
Hi Nancy! Thank you! That really was just drink it and improv. I had no script. A friend held tha camera (you can hear her laugh at one point!) and we just did it. I really do like the Refreshers. I hope they launch everywhere soon!
One more thing: I want to make sure I say a big THANK YOU to everyone leaving a comment on this blog. I’m not totally comfortable making videos, and as you can see by looking through blog posts, there have been very few of these kinds of video posts. So thank you to every single person who takes their precious time to wave hi and kindly reply in this thread! I want to make sure you it does not go unnoticed.
We are selling about 20-30 which is great!
Diele – I am so jealous your store has Refreshers! (Though I wouldn’t want your heat). It sounds like the handcrafted versions of the Refreshers are doing well!
This has nothing to do with Refreshers but I really love your laugh, Melody! It’s great getting to see you on video and we also get a better look at the product, too. I didn’t realize from your last post that the Refreshers can was so big! Definitely hope it’ll be available in more places 😀
Great video! Looks like you had a lot of fun tasting that Refresher! I hope they launch these nationwide. I’d really love to try one! 🙂
Melody this video was fantastic, especially considering is was a one take deal!! I hope you continue to make follow up ones. 🙂
I had trouble getting the canned refreshers until recently, so I haven’t gotten to try them yet. The handcrafted Very Berry Hibiscus one is good…the Cool Lime not so much, in my opinion.
I liked the video, and you managed it in one take! I am lad you got to try one, and it does sound interesting. I hope they make it out of their test markets soon.
This blog post made me giggle 😀 You look SO happy drinking this refresher 😉 Not only did it make me want to drink a can of it RIGHT NOW, I kept waiting to taste it as you kept taking sips LOL!!! I really enjoyed the addition of a video posting – AWESOME 😀
@darkkatpouncing – Thank you Kat! I did genuinely enjoy the Refresher. I wish I had more! I’m not going to make it a habit of doing video posts though – Too nerve wracking. But you can still subscribe to my you tube channel. 😀
Talking about StarBucks make me want a Frappucino 🙁 Why sad face ? Am in Italy now! No StarBuck here! (at least in Naples) Still local stuff is awesome as well 🙂
I live in the UK – its nice here and I like it but we never get any of these things to try *ever* if you like them in a US city then they might be made available statewide, then all across the US, then….. if we are lucky, they will let us have one in the UK. Think yourself lucky!
It does look great.
